Trust, engineered into every door.
Xipheredge builds the readers, controllers and software that decide who gets in — with AI face and fingerprint authentication that works in under half a second, on-premise or in the cloud.
Trusted across data centres, healthcare, industry and government
Leading innovator in access control and AI-based biometric solutions
The same hardware, the same credentials and the same policy model — deployed inside your network or in a managed cloud tenancy. Start on either one and move later without replacing a single reader.
One screen for every door, camera and alarm you own.
XipherOne runs inside your own network and unifies access control, video and sensors into a single operator view. Built for organisations that need their identity data to stay on their infrastructure, and that keep adding sites.
Doors, live video, alarms and visitor traffic on one timeline, with drag-and-drop layouts per operator.
From one building to a thousand doors across regions, with clustered servers and no per-door licence traps.
REST and gRPC APIs, a device SDK and certified integrations with HR, ERP and building management systems.
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, signed firmware and role-based access with full audit history.
Reader to controller to your server
Zero on-prem. Every site, from one browser tab.
XipherCloud puts the same biometric engine in a managed cloud tenancy. No servers to rack, no VPNs to maintain, and new branches come online the day the reader is mounted.
Readers connect outbound over TLS. Nothing to expose, nothing to patch on site.
Group branches into regions, delegate administration locally and keep one global policy.
Face, fingerprint, mobile, QR, RFID and PIN, mixed freely across the same estate.
Firmware, analytics models and features roll out continuously with no maintenance window.
Reader to cloud, nothing in between
Everything the door needs
Readers, controllers, cameras, sensors and credentials that were designed to work together, and that speak open standards so they work with what you already own.

Nobody buys a reader. They buy a queue that moves at shift change, a leaver who loses access the same hour, and an audit that takes an afternoon instead of a fortnight.

Our tenants used to ask for access reports and we would lose an engineer for a week. Now they get their own report in a click, and it is more detailed than what we used to produce by hand.

Biometrics and GDPR: how to deploy without creating a liability
Biometric data is special category data. That does not make it unusable — it makes the design decisions load-bearing.

All questionsYes. Every reader speaks OSDP v2 Secure Channel and Wiegand, so it drops into most third-party panels as a standard reader. If you want the biometric matching and audit trail as well, our controllers can sit alongside your existing panel during a phased migration.
You choose. Templates can live on the controller inside your network, in a credential held by the user, or in your XipherCloud tenancy. Nothing is stored as an image: templates are irreversible mathematical representations, encrypted with AES-256.
Our AI engine authenticates in under 0.5 seconds with masks, glasses, beards and hard backlight, and is tested against ISO/IEC 30107-3 presentation attacks including printed photos, screens and 3D masks.
No. XipherOne on-premise and XipherCloud share the same hardware, the same credentials and the same policy model, so you can start on either one and move later without replacing a single reader.
The platform ships with consent capture, retention policies, per-user deletion and exportable audit logs. Deployments can be pinned to a data region, and we provide a data-processing agreement and a DPIA template with every project.
